Everything is correct to the best of my knowledge as of 22nd May 2013 - no changes since last checked

This is a summary of the main bus services along the coast of the central and western Algarve.
Only the main towns and main services are shown - for complete timetable between these places, please click here
Timetables apply all year round. If you haven't already, please read this page of general information and this page of comments about
the buses shown below! The timetables are VERY optimistic; be prepared for delays of 15 - 20 minutes on almost all long journeys.
Buses DO NOT have route/line numbers. The indications here (AL, TR and INT) are to help you figure out which one is which.
Advanced reservation is not possible! If boarding at a BUS TERMINAL buy your ticket from the ticket office window!
To confirm exact times on your day of departure your best bet is to call the relevant bus company call centre. Be advised that they may employ contact centre software on their phone lines. You may need to answer several automated questions before getting the information needed. This process may only be in Portuguese.

A - Albufeira Bus Terminal is 1 mile (1.6km) from the old town, beaches and many of the hotels. Click here for more information.
B - Portimão does not have a bus terminal. Check here for more information on the various bus stops used.
C - these buses also stop at Algarve Shopping, 1 minute after Guia (direction Albufeira / Faro) or 1 minute before Guia (direction Portimão / Lagos)

THE LAST BUS AT WEEKENDS AND ON HOLIDAYS FROM FARO TO ALBUFEIRA IS AT 1845! The 1930 goes as far as Quarteira only.
# at weekends and on holidays, this is the LAST BUS from Quarteira and Vilamoura with a connection beyond Albufeira.
+ - local buses run about once every hour between Portimão and Lagos. First and last buses shown here. NB these do NOT run via Praia da Rocha and Alvor.

The 1830 and 1935 arrivals in Lagos only run in July, August and until 8th September.
