** In Lagos buses run to and from the bottom end
of the Av. dos Descobrimentes (the 'Esplanade') which is closer to
the historic town centre.
On the way out of Lagos, buses run along the esplanade and also stop by the footbridge over the river outside the bus station.
These buses also stop at the Penina resort and golf courses about ten minutes after/before Portimão, also near the Portimâo Retail Centre and Portimão's Aqua Shopping.
## Mexilhoeira Grande and Figueira are also served
infrequently on weekdays by route 21 of the Portimão 'Vai e Vem'
local bus network.
§ Odiáxere is also served daily by buses to/from
