It is being said that the electric trains on the
Algarve line will start on 19th July. If you are travelling on or
after that date, keep watch for a revised timetable.
I will do my best, but it may not be available until a few days
before!
Visitors to the Algarve please be aware that contactless card
payment is not available on board trains or on the vast majority
of buses.
Timetables are correct as of the date above. They are sometimes
changed at very short notice. Be aware!
Summer times on the urban routes around Albufeira, Lagos and
Portimão come into effect on 1st July 2026.
