These journeys are operated by Rede Expressos and its partners. They use the main bus station about 1.6km (about 1 mile) north of the town centre.

Most journeys are non stop except sometimes for a brief stop at a motorway service station
In Lisbon most journeys use the Sete Rios bus station.
Some journeys serve Lisbon Oriente and a few also stop at the airport.
Oriente is much nearer the airport than Sete Rios and with a direct metro connection.

For confirmed times, ticket prices and purchase use the official website or download the Rede Expressos app to your phone.

The ticket office at Albufeira bus station is open 0630 TO 1900hrs daily. If you are travelling outside those hours you must buy a ticket in advance or use the website or app.
There is a ticket machine at Albufeira bus station. Drivers do not sell tickets.

Times are subject to alteration around major holidays - Christmas, New Year and Easter. Extra journeys may operate in summer.

Flixbus operates about ten journeys a day between Albufeira and Lisbon Oriente in winter
Average journey time is 2 hours 45 minutes. There are more journeys in summer.
Summary of current times - Ffrom Lisbon Oriente at 0245, 0710, 0830, 0900 then at irregular intervals until last journeys at 2010 and 2030.
From Lisbon airport to Albufeira only at 0815 and 1745.

Ffrom Albufeira to Lisbon Oriente at 0715, 0745, 0845,1045 then at irregular intervals until 2130 and 2235. The 2235 journey arrives in Lisbon at 0220 the following morning.
From Albufeira to Lisbon airport only at 1130 and 1720.

Flixbus stop in Albufeira is the Avenida da Liberdade in the old town NOT at the main bus station.
Their stop has no facilities, not even seats, although there are a couple of café / bars nearby
