Olhão Bus Terminal Information

Local and long distance buses start and finish their journeys at a small terminal in the Rua Gen. Humberto Delgado,
close to the main Avenida da Republica and about 150 metres from the railway station.
The ferries to the islands are about a 10 minute walk away. Map here.

There is an enquiry/ticket office there. To get there from the railway station, turn right and cross the road.
Walk about 50 metres and turn left into the Rua Candido O Ventura.
Walk the length of the street (about 100 metres) and when at the end, turn right.
You will see the bus stops and buses a few metres ahead of you.
All buses call here and make other stops in town according to route.

Olhão Local Bus Service Information - checked 30th November 2021

Map and timetables on line here, click the bold black stops for the times at that stop. The timetable in standard form is here and select Transportes Urbanos.

Olhão has two circular urban bus routes, Linhas Amarela (yellow) and Verde (Green) starting from the bus 'terminal' and going out to the various suburbs.
Service operates once every hour on both routes from about 0715 until 1945 on weekdays (MFO) and from about 0800 to 1330 on Saturdays.
There is no service on Saturday afternoons, also no service all day on Sundays and holidays.

The fare is 1 Euro for any journey. There are no timetables at the bus stops, but they are available from the bus office.
