NB - long distance buses (coaches) operated by Rede Expressos and Flixbus stop elswehere.

VAMUS Route 101 Olhão <> Quelfes <> Moncarapacho

The Linha Azul takes a much longer route. Tickets are not interchangeable with Route 101

Journey time is ten minutes.
Route 102 from Olhão Bus Station at 0840 and 1830 on weekdays, also at 1220 and 1330 on Schooldays.
Route 102 from Pechão to Olhão at 0800, 0850 and 1840 on weekdays, also at 1235 and 1345 on schooldays

Linha Amarela from Olhão Bus Station on weekdays at 0940 and 1500, On Saturdays at 0820 and 1220
From Pechão to Olhão on weekdays at 1007 and 1527, on Saturdays at 0847 and 1247.
Linha Amarela takes a longer route. Tickets are not interchangeable with those for route 102.

PASSENGER FERRIES BETWEEN OLHÃO AND OUTLYING ISLANDS

Timetables on the internet have disappeared from the local council website. I have only found them on an unofficial site here. THE FERRY TIMETABLE INFORMATION IS AS POSTED AT THE FERRY TICKET OFFICE ON 27th FEBRUARY 2024 Inverno - winter times from 21st September until 31st May . Verão - summer times 1st June to 20th September PASSENGER FERRIES ONLY - there are no motor vehicles or even roads on the islands. Bicycles are not carried. Dogs must be muzzled and on a leash.
These ferries are not just for tourists! Ferries leave from a pier near the old fish docks; obviously on the waterfront and about ten minutes walk from bus and train stations. Map here.
Pay at the ticket office at the pier entrance, cash only! Extra journeys may operate at very busy times. The ticket office opens 30 minutes before the ferry departure.

Daily - runs daily all year round
AAA Operates Daily from 15th June to 13th September only
BBB these sailings operate Daily in July, August and until 20th September.
CCC These sailings operate Daily from 1st September to 30th June
DDD Operates Daily, from 1st July to 31st August only
EEE - Operates Daily, from 21st September until 31st May

Ferries also operate between Faro (Portas do Mar) and Culatra from late June until the end of August and to Ilha Farol until the end of September.

Olhão Bus Terminal Information

Olhão Local Bus Service Information - CUBO bus service

Olhão has four urban minibus bus routes, Linhas Amarela (Yellow), Azul (Blue), Azul A (Blue) and Verde (Green) starting from the bus 'terminal', going out in loops and circles to the suburbs as far as Quelfes and Pechão. Buses run from around 0700 to 2000 weekdays, from 0700 to 1500 on Saturdays with later service one route only until 2000 on Saturdays. There is no service on Sundays and holidays. Downloadable timetables are available here. The fare cash on board is 1 Euro for any journey, a pre paid pass reduces that to 75 cents (five journeys minimum)  and there is a monthly pass at €14.55 (€9,55 for seniors)
